YOMIURI ONLINE他で報じられるところによると、ハリー・ポッター・シリーズ第7巻は"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"になることが発表されました。デスリー・ハローズ。
「ハリー・ポッターと死の聖人」と報道では訳されてますけど、hallowは聖人というより聖職者という意味だったと思うんですがどうでしょう。「死の聖職者」は語呂が悪いからかな。
ハリー・ポッター・シリーズはこの第7巻で完結となります。中心人物が死亡すると著者が明らかにしています。手放しのハッピーエンドにはならないよう。
で、問題の発売時期ですが……まだ発表になってません。気を持たせるなあ。というか、タイトル発表だけでこれだけ盛り上がるハリポタがすごいのか。
